1. Who we are

Holysplit (holysplit.app) is run by an individual based in Thailand, not a company. In these terms "Holysplit", "we" and "us" mean that person. Contact: holysplit.app@gmail.com.

2. The service

• Splitting by hand (typing items, assigning people, settling up) is free.
• Bill reading: you send a photo and our reader turns it into a list of items. You get 2 free scans, plus 3 more when you sign in with Google.
• Your own API key: you can instead read bills with your own key from a supported AI provider. That is free from us; the provider's own terms and charges apply.

A scan counts only when the reader returns a result. If reading fails, it doesn't count.

The reader can make mistakes. Check the items and the total before you settle up with friends. We're not responsible for what is agreed or paid between you and the people you split with.

3. PASS and PACK

• PASS · 99฿: hosted bill reading for one year from the day you buy it, with up to 1,000 scans in that year (fair use). It is not lifetime access and it does not renew automatically. If you buy a new PASS while one is still running, the new year starts when the current one ends. If your current PASS has already used its 1,000 scans, a new PASS starts straight away.
• PACK · 39฿: 100 scans that expire 12 months after you buy them. Buying another PACK or a PASS can push that expiry later; it never moves earlier.
• Scans are used in this order: free scans first, then a PASS, then PACK scans. A PASS reaching its 1,000 scans doesn't touch your PACK scans.
• Purchases belong to the Google account you were signed in with and can't be moved to another account.
• To stop abuse, there are daily scan limits per device and per network for everyone, including paying users. Normal use never gets near them. Photos the reader can't read don't use a scan, but if several can't be read in one day, photo reading pauses on that device or network until the next day.

4. Paying

Prices are in Thai baht and are the full amount you pay. Payment is by PromptPay through Stripe, our payment provider; we never see your bank details. Stripe emails your receipt. Your PASS or PACK is unlocked as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, usually within seconds.

If we change prices, it doesn't affect a PASS or PACK you have already bought.

5. Refunds

See the refund policy. In short: a full refund within 7 days if you've used fewer than 10 scans from that purchase.

6. If Holysplit shuts down

We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email and on the site. For any PASS or PACK still running, we'll either keep honouring it or refund the unused part pro rata, so you never lose what you paid for.

7. Fair use

Don't use Holysplit to break the law, to overload or attack the service, or to resell or automate bill reading. We may suspend accounts that do; if we suspend a paying account for a reason that isn't abuse, we refund the unused part.

8. Liability

Holysplit is provided as it is. As far as Thai law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Thai law.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we'll tell you about important changes. Thai law applies.
